Had the timbren bump stops on my Ram 1500 for towing my RV. They were OK until our first trip with the travel trailer. It was way too harsh once it had that weight on it. Took them off immediately. Was towing my travel trailer with my Expedition Limited. Was looking to go to a 1/2 ton truck. Really liked the Tundras but couldn't find one with better payload capacity than my Expedition. Finally found the Ram I have now that has 1735lbs of payload capacity. The new springs you are offering are a good solution.

Good looking truck, don't see many standard cab, long bed trucks anymore. Everythine id four door, short box, option loaded family trucksters.

Installed the 351-893HD on a 2023 Ram Rebel, crew cab, zero change in the ride height. Slightly stiffer ride in rear end, feels fine. Note, if you don't have a pit to work in, it's a easy changeout to remove the wheels and work from the side.

With that in mind, I’m not trying to be a naysayer at all so I hope you don’t take it that way. I have to say, though with this shackle install that leafspring bushing got melted. I know this was a challenge and you were against the clock but that really needed to be replaced. It was compromised.

23 3/8 was your center to center of the leaf eye??? mine is 23 1/4 is this possible,they are 3500 pounds, so it would be 23 1/4 x2 and + 3 inch ,is this ok Gef

This kit worked perfectly. I highly recommend it.

I was looking to go with an inch spacer in rear as my Bilstein 5100’s up front leave my front about 9/16” higher than the rear. I just got a trailer so figured lil lift in back would make sense. Then I thought of better coils. My 4x4 shop says I would need new rear shocks as well (also said same w the spacer). Any opinion to that. I like this coil option, would make sense for me.

Great video, Scott. Just about every one of my trucks over the last few decades has been in a spring shop, mostly because of wear due to snow plowing. It's always reassuring to have your truck riding stout and level with all the leaf springs, hangers, shackles, and bushings in good order.

I'm here in n.ky.,got an 89 Silverado,never easy but the heat and air chisel def makes it easier for sure, good video bud👍

Do the shackles have to be in the front or rear of the trailer

Do a kit for for a 2017 with a Repair spring and a add a left with center bolts and u bolts.

Also goes to show how important staging is 👍 I'd love to see a react vid

This is not an H3 issue, it’s an issue with any vehicle with real leaf springs

well done! Nice to see that your father passed on his skills and that you took them to heart. don't see that much anymore. I taught my boys some essential skills to help them throughout their life's journey. basic home and auto repair to get you by when you don't have the money to hire it out or take it in to the shop.
